Blackberry Synchronization

1) Installed blackberry desktop manager on your computer

2) Start Desktop Manager

3) Connect your blackberry with computer via usb

4) Click on Synchronisation


5) check Synchronize organiser data check box



6) Click on the configuration tab and then click on configre sync button


7) Select required check boxes which you want your blackberry synchrinised to


8)Just configured your all check box option by clicking on configuration option select the software which you are using on computer ie - Lotus notes,outlook


9) Now just go back & selct synchronize now button from synchronize tab for synchronizing your blackberry device.


10)If you want your blackberry being synchronized every time when you connect your blackberry to your system just check the option synchronize the item selected above

About Wireless Activation

Activating your BlackBerry the wireless way
1)Once you have received your BlackBerry device, you need to contact your administrator or IT department for your wireless activation password.

2)You should know that for security purposes, the activation password becomes invalid after five unsuccessful activation attempts. The activation password is also only valid for 48 hours. If not used within this time frame, the password will automatically expire.

3)The next step is to launch the enterprise activation program on the BlackBerry device.(path - main menu-option-enterprise activation)in Email field type in your email address (such as user@in.pwc.com)Next to the Password field type in the activation password provided to you by the administrator.

4)Once you have the password typed in, click once. A menu will appear from where you can click the Activate option. A status screen will appear indicating the status of the activation process.

5)A Waiting for services message will appear on the status screen as the appropriate service books are sent to the handheld. Once complete, the BES will send the following data to your handheld device:

Inbox
Calendar
Contacts
Tasks
Notes

6)After that activation process should be complete and you will be able to send and receive email, among other tasks, from your BlackBerry

Blackberry Configuration & Activation with enterprise server

1) Once you have received your Blackberry device, you need to contact your administrator or IT department for create the account on enterprise server

2) If you are using lotus notes you need Lotus notes ID file & password

3) Installed Blackberry desktop manager on your system

4) Connect your handset with desktop manager through data cable & run desktop manager

5) It will ask for the device password.

6) Give the path of your Id file on device manager & select your enterprise server.

7) Put your lotus notes password & click on connect.

8) Check the server & device status on your device manager.
(Server status should be online & device status should be connected)

9) After connecting to device manager the enterprise activation gets started automatically.

10) After completing the enterprise activation you can remove the battery & sim card insert it again & start your device.

11) You can check whether the lookup is happening or not if the lookup is happening on your blackberry device then you will be able send & receive emails from your blackberry device
